International Holocaust Remembrance Day program features 'Monument'

On Jan. 26, the Sandra Bornstein Holocaust Education Center will host a screening of "Monument," a documentary about filmmaker Michael Turner’s visit to the Hungarian Holocaust memorial that his grandmother, Lici, built after she survived Auschwitz. Following the film, there will be a Q&A on Zoom with the filmmaker, Michael Turner.
The program is being offered in partnership with the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island.
“Monument” will screen on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 3-5 p.m. in the Baxt Social Hall at the Dwares Jewish Community Center in Providence. Registration is requested but not required. For more information, go to info@hercri.org or call 401-453-7860.
